In a press conference on April 6th 2020, the Austrian government announced that no more events may be held until the end of June 2020. Of course, this measure also affects us, and it is with a heavy heart that we must therefore announce the cancellation of the Dreiländergiro 2020. The ban of events serves the containment of the Covid-19 virus and therefore we support this decision. Your health, as well as that of our volunteers has the highest priority.
Nevertheless it was a very hard blow for us too. We were looking so much forward to celebrating the 27th edition of the Dreiländergiro with you! In this difficult times it is even more important that we stick together, motivate each other and continue pedalling!

The 27th Dreiländergiro, on 28.06.2020
With a 26-year
success story, the Dreiländergiro is one of the most popular cycling marathons in Europe. 3000 cycling enthusiasts gather every year behind the starting line in Nauders, Tyrol.
In 2020 the cult history of the Dreiländergiro will continue. The starting signl for a top-class sporting experience will be given once again on the 28th of June. Three countries and over 3,000 metres in altitude are passed through and ascended on each route. A particular highlight is the ascent of the Stilfser Joch (Stelvio Pass) at 2,757m. The start and finishing lines are located in Nauders - an established cycling destination that can hardly wait to welcome you. Along the routes, you will be provided with sustenance at four or seven refreshment stations. On arrival at the finishing line, you can wind down at the end of the day in our marquee or on the sunny festival meadow. And, of course, the exclusive Dreiländergiro finisher's jersey awaits you!
The Dreiländergiro is immersed in an entire week full of cycling events and is the highlight of the „Girodays“ in the Tyrolean Oberland. You can look forward to a week that is dedicated entirely to the cycling scene. The prelude to the „Girodays“ already starts on 14.06 with the „Kaunertaler Gletscherkaiser“ (Kaunertal Glacier Emperor). Afterwards, numerous cycling trips and extra side-events await you. Among them are the „Race Across the Alps-the toughest one-day race in the world“ with its start on Friday and the „Night Race“ – a thrilling professional-race right in Nauders village centre on Friday evening.
