Stelvio Vinschgau route

120 km | 3000 metres altitude in 3 countries

The Stelvio Vinschgau route leads you, from Austria to Italy, across the Reschen Pass as far as Prad, where the 48 bends of the impressive Stilfserjoch lie ahead before you.

On arrival above, you are rewarded with an exceptional view and the intense feeling of having conquered the summit of the mythical mountain peak of 2,797 metres in altitude. From here, you can reach the Swiss Münstertal by crossing the breathtaking Umbrail Pass. You leave here in the direction of Laatsch, before you are, once again, pushed to your utmost limits in a final sprint on the Reschen Pass. All along the legendary Via Claudia Augusta cycling route, you are presented with striking mountain peaks and views of the deep waters of the lakes Haidersee and Reschensee.

We are particularly pleased that over the past years, the Stelvio Vinschgau route with it's return trip via the Münstertal valley, has become an insider's tip for many participants.

There are several refreshment stations along the route, at which you can replenish your strength.

  • Trafoi
  • Stilfserjoch
  • Laatsch
  • St.Valentin
  • Finish Area
