Entertainment for your support crew
Our pro tip: it’s best to plan a few extra days of holiday right away — because you definitely won’t get bored!
From Wednesday onwards, there’s at least one organised ride every day, plus plenty of community events. And beyond that, there’s no chance of getting bored in the tri-border region. There are cycling tours for every ability level, while hiking and summit adventures range from relaxed to truly extreme.
If you’d like to try other sports — such as enduro riding or perhaps something completely different like kitesurfing or climbing — you’ll find plenty of opportunities for that too. And the best part: whatever activity you choose, you can explore Switzerland, Austria, and Italy along the way.
More than 10 organised rides and events are waiting for you. To the Girodays >>
Our bucket list for your Giro holiday:

🚴🏼♀️ Enjoy an easy ride along the Inn Cycle Path through the vast Engadin landscape — good for body and mind.
📖 Visit the Monastery of St. John in Müstair (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) — culture between the mountain passes.
🧀 Taste mountain cheese from the Vinschgau, Engadin, or Tyrol — ideally straight from the farm.
🚿 Cool your legs in the icy River Inn after a training ride — Swiss-style recovery.
☀️ Enjoy a cappuccino on the piazza in Glurns, South Tyrol’s smallest town.
🛍️ Discover local products at a weekly market (for example in Mals or Zernez).
🧘♀️ Join a stretching or yoga session with mountain views — perfect preparation before the Radmarathon day.
🍻 Experience a Tyrolean evening with Kaspressknödel dumplings and a shot of Swiss stone pine schnapps.
Your companions definitely won’t get bored at the Dreiländergiro — quite the opposite: it’s the perfect opportunity to turn event day into a true Alpine adventure!
